Big Sean (circa 2010)
Straight out of Detroit, Big Sean is stirring up quite a buzz in the Hip Hop industry with his draw dropping punchlines and versatile flow. Big Sean currently has two mixtapes out and is set to release his debut studio album entitled, Finally Famous, September 2o1o. All of Big Sean’s mixtapes are crammed with attention grabbing verses filled with intelligent rhymes and knockout punchlines. The young emcee is entertaining the ears of Hip Hop fans all over the globe and has already made a name for himself in the game.
Big Sean’s lyrical talent was first discovered on Detroit radio station, 102.7, as he landed himself on the airwaves once a week to compete in freestyle battles. His relationship with the members of the radio station helped jump start his career as they were the ones who informed Big Sean of Kanye West’s visit to the station. Once notified of Kanye’s presence in the building, Big Sean pleaded with the producer/emcee to hear him out. Sean then dropped 16 bars for Kanye and two years later found himself signed with GOOD Music at the age of nineteen.
Big Sean has already worked and recorded tracks with artists like, Kid Cudi, Wale, Pharell and Japan’s own, Terriyaki Boyz. The mixtapes currently released by Big Sean include, Finally Famous The Mixtape and U Know Big Sean, both tapes are well worth the download and will be a fresh sound for the ears. If Sean keeps delivering them heavy hitting punchlines like in his track Supa Dupa Lemonade, he will most definitely have a bright future in the industry.
